Reviews Overview

Most Liked

The authentic Cantonese menu truly shines, with dishes that evoke memories of bustling dim sum houses. Diners rave about the freshly made dumplings, particularly the siu mai and prawn-filled delights. Portion sizes are generous, and the Chu Hou beef brisket stew garners much acclaim. The Hong Kong Ice Milk Tea draws fans, offering a refreshing taste of home for those who miss it. Friendly staff enhance the experience, welcoming guests warmly as they enter, creating a sense of community. The variety of small plates also allows for shared dining, making it perfect for family gatherings or outings with friends.

Most Disliked

Some patrons point out that the restaurant can feel cramped during peak times, particularly Saturday afternoons when it reaches full capacity. This can result in a wait if a reservation isn’t made, which may deter those on tight schedules. A few guests find the limited choice of desserts somewhat disappointing, with only one prominent sweet offering on the menu. Additionally, while many enjoy the bustling atmosphere, others prefer a quieter setting and might find the lively environment overwhelming during busy service hours.

New owners. Cash & card accepted. cash is 10% off too. Amazing authentic Cantonese dishes. We ordered 9 items for 4 of us. (7 dim sums). (See photos) All dishes were Freshly made. We booked our table on a Saturday lunch time. So we didn’t need to wait. Highly recommended if you miss Hong Kong dim sum.

It is a small restaurant but very busy, dim sum quality is very nice. Been back twice already. If you didn't book, prepare to wait at least 30 min.

We moved to Bedfordshire a few years back and we've struggled to find anywhere that does dim sum, especially to the quality we used to get at our old local in Essex. This is probably one of the best tasting dim sum I've had. The portions are generous and tasty. The staff are also so kind and accommodating. My in-laws have been going back to Hong Kong since the 70's and had their own take away for many years (my father in law is from Hong Kong). My mother in law was seriously impressed and that take a lot. We came with a 2 month old baby and really it was a bit silly because there isn't really room for a pram. But the staff made it work for us, which really was so kind and unnecessary. We will be back with various family members in tow and a baby carrier so we can sit upstairs. Thank you so much!
